Assoc. Prof. Eren Can Aybek

Eren Can Aybek received his B.Sc. degree in the Physics Education Department from Balıkesir University, Turkey, in 2009. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in the Educational Measurement and Evaluation Department from Ankara University, Turkey, in 2012 and 2016. He is currently an associate professor at Pamukkale University, Denizli, Turkey, and has been a researcher at BounAdaptiveTestLab since 2021. His research areas primarily include Computerized Adaptive Testing and Item Response Theory. He is also the developer of a Shiny application, catIRT tools, that aims to help researchers to conduct simulations and IRT calibrations. Eren Can Aybek

Dr. Güneş Ertaş

Güneş Ertaş received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in the Secondary School Science and Mathematics Education Department from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2011 and 2014, and her Ph.D. degree in Measurement and Evaluation in Education from Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2022. She is currently a part-time instructor in the Educational Sciences and Mathematics and Science Education Departments at Boğaziçi University, and a researcher at BounAdaptiveTestLab since 2021.

Gamze Uçak Ersizer

Gamze Uçak Ersizer received her B.A. degree in Foreign Language Education and M.A. degree in Educational Technology from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2014 and 2019, respectively. She is a Ph.D. candidate in the Learning Sciences program at the same university. She works as an English instructor and unit supervisor at the preparatory school of a private university in Istanbul. She has been a member of BounAdaptiveTestLab since 2023. Her current research interests include adaptive tests, multi-stage testing for statistics achievement, scaffolding environment designs, and communities of inquiry.

Gözde Demir Ertuğrul

Gözde Demir Ertuğrul received her B.A. degree in Guidance and Psychological Counseling from Marmara University, İstanbul, Turkey, in 2013 and M.A. degree in Educational Sciences from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2023. She is currently a Ph.D. student in the Learning Sciences program at Boğaziçi University. She works as a psychological counselor at Beykoz Science and Art Center (BİLSEM), İstanbul, Turkey, with gifted students. She has been a member of BounAdaptiveTestLab since 2025. Her current research interests include teacher professional development (PD) and adaptive tests.

Belgin Eriz

Belgin Eriz received her B.Sc. in Primary Mathematics Education Department, from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2022. She is currently an M.Sc. student in the Mathematics and Science Program at Boğaziçi University. She has been a member of BounAdaptiveTestLab since February 2022. She is currently a research assistant at Yıldız Technical University. Her current research interests include assessment literacy, test development, and adaptive testing.

Hüsna Karabacak

Hüsna Karabacak received her B.Sc. in Mathematics Education Department from, Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2023. She is currently an M.Sc. student in the department of Mathematics and Science Education at Boğaziçi University. She has been a member of BounAdaptiveTestLab since February 2024. Her current research interests include adaptive testing, multistage testing and scale development.

Sara Aldağ

Sara Aldağ received her B.Sc. in the Undergraduate Program in Primary Mathematics Education Department from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2023. She is an M.Sc. student in the Mathematics and Science Education department at Boğaziçi University and a member of BounAdaptiveTestLab. Her current research interests include adaptive testing and multistage testing.

Nurdeniz Yılmaz

Nurdeniz Yılmaz received her B.Sc and M.Sc. degrees in the Mathematics Education department from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2021 and 2024. She is currently a PhD student in the Mathematics Education program at the same university and a member of BounAdaptiveTestLab as a researcher. She works as a research assistant at Eskişehir Osmangazi University. Her research interests include adaptive testing, test construction, artificial intelligence, teaching and learning algebra.

Zehra Keçe

Zehra Keçe received her B.Sc. in the Undergraduate Program in Primary Mathematics Education department from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2023. She is currently an M.Sc. student in the department of Mathematics and Science Education at Boğaziçi University and a member of BounAdaptiveTestLab. Her current research interests include cognitive diagnostic models and individualized homework.
